I never looked at the spark plugs on the last gas car I owned until 100k miles. With electronic ignition they are not so critical if they come from any of the major manufacturers. You are more likely to have the coils fail before the plugs. On V.W's I tend to source German made components, but these days parts are made all over the world.

If you have a full owner's manual set, it might tell you there. Depending on engine series VW suggests changing spark plugs 40-60 k miles. That info would also be in the owner's manual. It could be 3 different ones. Search Results | 1st VW Parts.
You might have to pull a plug to verify.
