Hi I just tried not to think about it too much and the time flew by, ordered Sept 06 picked it up end of Jan 07, not sure where the time went but I'm not complaining.

Can't help you much ... saw the car on Saturday which was the first day they were introduced in Canada, then picked it up on Monday. That was a long enough wait for me! Dealer wanted to keep the car as demonstrator, but he was not getting any more to sell for over five months; so ........... I convinced him it was silly to keep a sales demonstrator when he would have no more to sell for such a long while.I ordered my EOS 3 weeks ago, and am hoping/expecting delivery mid-July. What do you guys do to pass the time between ordering and delivery?
I've started spotting other EOS on my commute from Telford to Solihull (UK Midlands) - there's only one I see from time to time - black, lady driver.
Any other ideas to get the time to move faster?
Graham,I hope you do manage to get yours before the summer ends. However, it is part of the Eos owning experience that you have to wait for your 'bespoke' package. The anticipation is one of the great bits.
Best of luck with a quick delivery.
Welcome .... from the appearance of your photo, looks like left hand drive and thus North America. Cars are slightly more plentiful (and less expensive) for US than for poor guys and gals in UK!Sorry to hear about your wait. I searched the internet, found the vehicle I wanted and purchased / took delivery that same day.
Thanks for the explanation .... no longer concerend theat your car is edible! Cheers!Fred,
Nothing complicated like that, just black and titanium cloth seats rather than leather. The vegetarian option.
You lot don't know what a wait is!
I put a deposit down on an Eos in March 2004 as soon as I saw the Concept C from which it was developed. Car arrived 14/07/06 so that was 2 years and 4 months!

WOW!! What dedication. As a matter of course I expect that VW have recognised this exceptional degree of loyalty in some way, invitations to special events, being solicited for user feedback, involvement in process improvement, general understanding of who their customers are and why?? Etc etc???
I bow to thee, oh dedicated one
