I miss heated front screen and automatic dimmer for the internal rear view mirror. The latter may have been an option which I did not take, but I now find its a bore switching back and forth when you have an inconsiderate driver behind you.

To be honest my Eos has everything I want /need. Perhaps it was my previous crap cars though. I will admit a rear screen wiper would be great.

I miss two heaters, namely the steering wheel heater and the back of the seat heater.

Oooh where to start!

1. Rear wiper.

2. The quick clear windscreen of a Ford.

3. Multi function steering wheel.

4. Ipod prep.

5. Heating - the heating on the Eos is abysmal and really needs improving!

6. A non-floor mounted accelerator - my bloomin mats would have been a lot cheaper! (although in all fairness it's more difficult for me to get my foot stuck under the pedal in flip flops which seemed to always happen in other cars!)

7. A black or white exterior!

8. A back middle seat and seat belt.

9. Wings so that it could fly!

But - I am English and I love to moan! (as we do as a race!)

Loving my car apart from it's leakyness right now and if I could add the above then it would be even better!

I love it as it is (glad I picked the leather, autoswitch rear view mirror, xenons and associated wipers, mutli-function steering wheel...)... If I could add to it:
- wipers in the back
- front radar sensors
- something to improve de-icing on front windscreen and side windows, so they don't stay stuck open when frozen
- 5 year warranty from scratch

A couple of things the designers seem to have forgotten to include:

Rear-window switches for back seat passengers;
Ventilation outlets for back seat passengers.

Other than that I think I'm happy with everything mine has, although I would have liked to have seen the twin exhausts (one either side rather than 2 on the left) like the original Concept C had!

Going to check in my car when driving back home tonight, yet I believe it has a vent outlet in the back of the middle console, for rear passengers...

Rear passenger ventillation / heat is by vents under the front seats.

Yes, I know there are heating outlets for rear-seat passengers under the front seats, but I meant fresh-air ventilation grilles like on the dash.

Every car I've had since the early 90s has had at least one on the back of the centre console.

Rear-seat passengers seem to be 2nd class citizens in Eoses!

Would that be much different so long as external air was coming via the vents. If the down button is pressed on the heater and temperature set low, then fresh air is forced through the vents.

i think most things CAN be added as options but they should be standard such as:
auto dipping mirrors
xeons. standard lights are crap
dual climate. standard setup is cheap
multi function wheel with paddles

1. Automatic on head lights.
2. The ability to just turn on parking lights without head lights.
3. Auto off heated mirrors.
4. Passenger side electric seat adjust.
5. Auto dimming rearview mirror.
For the money we pay, all of these items should be provided.
But I still love the EOS.

There is nothing I miss from my other cars except maybe a rear window wiper. This is the first car I had with so many things. I can't comment on non US available options but I can comment on what Todd said.
1. Automatic on head lights- I believe there is a position on the headlight switch that does this. Where I live there are so many street lights some drivers don't think they need headlights.
2. The ability to just turn on parking lights without head lights. A nice thought but most drivers wouldn't know how to use them any more. Part of the reason DRL's came to pass.
3. Auto off heated mirrors. Would be a good idea. I never checked to see if my Eos has this feature or not.
4. Passenger side electric seat adjust.
5. Auto dimming rearview mirror. items 4 and 5 are in the Lux model but not available other wise.
I would have liked to have the Xenon headlights but they weren't available on the 2.0 when I bought mine. Everything else on my Eos works pretty well and when I buy another car I will look to get all the items I currently have. The Eos is expensive no matter what model you get. If you have the money right now is the time to get the best deal. Right now I just miss my Eos as it is still in the body shop getting repaired. We were supposed to pick it up today but we had to refuse it. They did a nice job fixing the body damage but they forgot to put the trim back on the the trunk lid. I had thought about not putting it back on but the insurance company is paying for the pieces and they should be installed. Additionally when they cleaned the car they scratched the rear section of the roof. So I won't see the car for a few more days.

1. I wish I had the rear wipers like in my previous Evo or turbo wagons, comes in handy anytime

2. The sheer pull of turbo compared to the linear power of EOS

3. The handling is ok, but nowhere near the high capacity of the 4WD traction.

But I love the EOS for the top feel and overall driving experience. Its one of those rare convertibles that provide a very close to nature's feeling due to the roof and front wind screen design :D

Maybe I just haven't been out in some heavy rain, but from what I've seen so far, I wouldn't want a rear wiper. IMHI, rear wipers would give the Eos a station-like/truck look. Also, it might take a heavy rear end design as the top fits very snug when down. I'm guessing there isn't enough room for a rear wiper in the present configuration.

Just shows how VW management in various countries view their markets. I have items 1,3, 4 and 5 on mine.
