I've got X10 EOS.
A search of XIO In Wiki gives "all in one" as a definition so that just about describes the CSC roof I reckon. (I like it anyway!)

Personally, I prefer a plate that is as anonymous as possible. You never know if you might get caught out someday when your Eos with "cherished number" is spotted by a friend somewhere you shouldn't have been!

Valid point, esp if you have a plate like mine, as many people know me as 'Kuz'. Ones with EOS in the registration could easily be confused with other similar plates, and so you could just deny it was you; and say 'It was probably someone else etc etc...'

The only trouble with having an EOS**** plate is that if (I only say if) you decided to go for something other than an EOS next time around then there is no point keeping the EOS plate to transfer to your new car! So what ever you paid for it originally will be lost to the next owner!

Hi Gary,

I sort of agree with you there but sort of dont as EOS plates will get few and far between they will become greater in value than you paid for it.

I'm currently getting mine valued so I know how much its worth if i come to sell.

I did look at a number plate it was something like 5TEP 11 so it looked like steph but that was 7 grand!

it is not my wish to be a party pooper, but just a word of caution. in the last couple of weeks they have tightened up the MOT, number plates and the requirement to be of standard layout etc are now part of it. if you have one of these slightly "modified" plates you will fail your MOT now

Thats interesting, the wife takes her car in for MOT next month I think, will be interesting to see if any comment is made regarding her number plate - will report back.
If I win the lotto Steph I'll buy you the £7K number plate.

Things are much simpler in the Colonies...

I think I paid about $40 for the above plate. We can have any string of 7 or less characters as long as they don't have a "naughty" meaning. Every once in a while, someone gets something slipped by the censors. We have about 30 or so backgrounds to choose from also, mine showing an eagle. I wanted "SkyBlue", "SkyHigh" or "BlueSky", but someone else beat me to them.

The last published change to the testing of registration plates was back in October 2007. Its pot luck on how strict the examiner is going to be if your plates are slightly different. The latest details can be found at:

http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/htdocs/m3s06000301.htm

The second page shows the applicable reasons for rejections. I would say the best thing to do is to have it tested with standard plates and then put the 'show' plates back on later.
