I'm probably also looking for MY07 Tdi soon? I may go the stainless custom route for a stock DPF/CAT back system.
I had one before on another car, but there are certain 'non-standard' parts and hangers they make on site, then weld to fit. You also need to know how they cut and fix to the DPF or CAT. If it's cut and welded you can't bolt on a stock CAT or DPF, it has to be adapted and TIG welded. Not great if you have a weekend problem to fix and can't use regular auto shop parts or DIY. On the one I had fitted, the 'U' clamps weren't stainless either. But now I know what to look for and discuss with the fitters. Stainless can add a slight ring noise to the system, but not noticeable for a diesel. Heavy weight/gauge is best.
