Hi Guys,

Long time no see!

I've got to replace the two front tyres on our car but can't seem to find any decent ones for less than £150 each.

I'm after 235 45 x 18.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

I thought the 18" inch size was 235 40x18. Probably isn't much to find that's cheap. It would make the most sense to get the same brand and model as the rear tires. Do you do tire rotations?

Yes I meant 40 and not 45. Just a typo.

I don't want to buy another pair of Dunlops (which the car came with) as I don't think they are very good.

I used www.blackcircles.com. You buy the tyres from them and they deliver them to your local garage for fitting. They offer a 'supply only' or 'fully fitted' price.

I also had the Dunlops from new and don't rate them at all. I went for the Continental Sport Contact 3 a couple of months ago, and got a front pair fitted for a smidge over £300.

Much better tyres IMO.

Got my last pair of rears from Quik fit, they are bridgestones or continentals, 235/40/R18's and were £300 fitted. They have a deal on at the mo if you buy 2 or 4.
