Hello again eos lovers!
Still waiting for my perfect eos to pop up in the autotrader and I have a question. Obviously the standard car (normal supsension with the higher profile tyres) will be smoother on the road than the sport (sports suspension with low profile tyres) but just how different are they in terms of smoothness....? A smooth ride is quite important to me as I currently have a astra sports hatch with 18" alloys and elastic bands for tyres and running over a blade of grass could put my back out....

hi davey

i used to have an astra twintop then changed it for an eos . ive got the eos sport and i drives like a dream apart from the odd pot hole and rough road . regardles of which one you choose u will get a more bumpy ride with it having the roof chopped off. as for looking for a good deal try www.lookers.co.uk these have some great deals on there used cars ie they have an 08 reg in silver alloys and red leather with 7000 miles on the clock for £18444 and regardles of where the car is they will transfer to your nearest lookers dealership

Which model offers smoothest ride?

The best answer is to test-drive new/used Eos models with the various suspension options - this should not be a problem if you turn up at a number of dealers as a prospective buyer, inquire about the car and options then request a test-drive for comparison purposes.

Yeah problem is, is the nearest standard car is 113 miles away!...lol can you believe it. was talking to a salesman today and he said there is hardly any differece...might have been slightly biased beings he had a nice shiney "sport" out in the courtyard..lol
