I thought I had seen a post about this somewhere but can't seem to find it now. Earlier in the week my drivers side window started to only go half way up after opening/closing the roof...when I got home I tried to show my husband and of course it didn't do it...

The next day I noticed that after closing the door that the window wouldn't finish closing like it normally did so I ended up taking it to the dealer...they claimed that dirt got on the window track and that was what was causing it not to close all the way. It seems to be working now but I'm not sure that I'm buying what they are telling me....if that is the case am I going to have this problem continuously?

Anyone has any comments on this?

I had a similar problem .. window would go all the way up, but then come back down to the 1/2 way position. I took it to the dealer ... turned out to be an adjustment to where the windows sits when it is in the fully up position. It was going up too far, meeting resistance and coming back down. Dealer made a simple adjustment to where it stops when closed and it has been fine ever since. I suppose dirt in the channel could cause the same problem. If it continues happening, they can make a simple adjustment.
