Aloha All,
Anyone having problems with their driver's door (Left hand drive) forgetting to snug up when you get in and close the door? It is real annoying, and it only does it sometimes. I have reset all windows with the key in the lock procedure, but continues to keep happening.
I am afraid to have the dealer touch the car, because they will probably mess up the door panel and make it worse. Can the system be reprogramed, or is their a factory fix? Please advise.
Mahalo,

Update,
Took my EOS in for 5000 mile service, and don't know what they did, but it all works fine now.

i have windows erratic problems, when i have closed my driver's door after i sat in, and switched to ignition, the windows can zig up and down erratically.

looked thru the vw bulletins and it can be the ignition switch issue or prob a faulty sensor.

most of the times it happens when the day is real hot, and i parked my EOS in the open, seems like an 'inflated' seal can cause the window sensors to get 'crazy'?

This might seem insane, but have you lubed your seals recently?

Hey Tortoise,

It is possible to drive to Singapore from the UK - the border crossings in a few places are problematic and the frequent "greasing of palms" to facilitate passage makes a hole in the wallet.

The overland trip from the UK to Australia and vice-versa is undertaken regularly by more adventurous backpackers - the only major water crossing is from Singapore to Darwin/Fremantle [the English Channel doesn't count].

I admire those who will do that, its a killer enough for me to drive from Singapore to Thailand and I dun have the license to get a gun :D
