Evening all,

Has anyone found a way to stop the rear seat passengers getting blasted by air when they are in the back with the roof down?

I have the VW option for the front seats, but the kids aren't impressed with sitting in the back with the roof down?

Cheers,

Greg

Hi Greg,

I have found that being blasted around by the air is the bit that makes kids want to hop in the back. (a bit like getting into the third row in my Ford Territory - if you made them go there, they'd carry on like they were being tortured, but of their own free will - its cool.)

You either need to do your best impression of a shrink, or accept the fact that your kids aren't feral.

Cheers

My kids love being blown about in the back, especially my two year old. They both put their hands in the air and scream like they're on a roller coaster. The only thing they don't understand is that "High School Musical" is not good top down music!

...and I always keep a ponytail holder or other type of hair accessory in the car for my 5 year old daughter with really long hair. My 18 month old love it and laughs the whole time. I do try to get her to wear sunglasses, though.

Hi Darren,

I am glad that you specified that the ponytail holder was for your daughter (or do you work in advertising?)

Unfortunately I don't have the advantage of having "little friends" or kids as you may know them as! I have big adult friends who HATE me having the roof down as they get so cold and are extremely vocal of the fact! They tell me to stop showing off and put the roof up but I just say I'm cosy and warm in the front with the heated seat and the heater blowing out full blast at me!!

One thing you could consider doing is taking a blanket for your kids too?

p.s. also putting the windows up will obviously help although not completely remove the wind...

:D

I'm actually about as clean cut as they come. I'm a physician, not in advertising. A smidge follicularly challenged on top so definitely no hair blowing in my face while seated front or rear
