I dont understand. Our build week is 25 which is week commencing 18th June.

Our dealer says that delivery is likely to be 8 to 10 weeks after that, which means middle to end of August.

Meanwhile, another forum member has the same build week and his dealer (which is another branch of our dealer) says that his car will be with him by the end of July.

I have also seen at least 2 other threads on this forum where people are expecting delivery within not too many weeks of their build date.

Can I please ask other UK members how many weeks it took to have your EOS delivered after the build date?

Delivery Times

Hi Gavster,

Mine was build week 20 and the dealer confirmed 2 weeks ago that the car has been built. He has also stated that there are delays on shipping but is hoping mine will be in the UK at the end of this week or the beginning of next week. Am still awaiting a call this week!!

Hang in there, I'm sure it will be more than worth the wait, but if you're like me you just can't wait to get your hands on it!!

Regards,

Steve

Mine took about 4/5 weeks from build to Dealer.
That was last year however and maybe they have to hang around for shipping space a bit longer now?

8/10 weeks however seems a ridiculous amount of time to get from Portugal to UK (the ship can't take longer than 36/48 hours!)

Believe it or not, these cars go back to Germany (or did do up until April for a final inspection by Webasto (the roof people).

Pity it doesn't always prove to be fruitful !
I believe you are right .... understand car goes back to Webasto in Germany to have roof installed as well as final asembly.

You see, that's another thing that I asked the dealer and he said that as far as he was aware the cars come direct from Portugal to the UK.

I guess it's in the lap of the gods until it arrives.

Just makes it all that much more exciting when it comes Gavin. We will all be driving used crocks and you will have a shiny new one! Hang in there!

EOS Wait

Think about it, built in Portugal, shipped back to Germany,
breathed on by Webasto (or something) and for many poor buggers the roof still creaks and leaks after a year of production !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost forgot the final leg, to either Europe,States or wherever. No wonder the price is so high.

Worth the agonising wait !

Mine was delayed several times due to the combination of diesel and a dsg box, but finally arrive after 9 months from order ! I Love it to bits and so do most on lookers by their reaction ! Ps Wish Id ordered a wind break now, tried for the one on EBay but didnt get it. Anyone got an unwanted one ?
