What about the MDI interface if I choose the RCD510 radio?

Those with them would say 'yes' and those without 'no'!
I have them but they only really come into their own on country roads which are not busy. Then they're almost like driving in daylight. But on motorways/in towns they make no difference.

I would always order them provided they're not way overpriced.

An Eos is not a cheap car even in its basic trim level, and whilst the Xenons arn't exactly essential, after you have them there's no going back to that dull yellowy light regular headlights give off. So what i'm saying is your already paying a high price even if you dont spec it up, so you may aswell have a few options to sex it up.

Plus, I think the Xenons clusters just look better anyway, with the main body of the light being reserved for the moving lenses and the side lights/indicators tucked in on the inside.

Finally its a great gadget to show your friends when you start up the car at night and the light beams move all around while they self adjust. Cool!!

when you have the xenon's, what part of the headlamp illuminates for the daytime running lights?

MDI or not?

I chose not to get the MDI interface as it has an SD card slot.
All my music is on a 32GB SD card, and there is no fiddling with the iPOD or iPhone every time I get in the car. Cost wise an SD card is about $100 and the MDI interface lots more.
