Excellent!! Fellow Canadian EOS owners unite!!!

Maybe some day we could have a "meet".
Big country ........... but would be fun with these cars! I have a brother in Sherwood Park, and get out there every once in a while to visit.

:) Sitting in the sun here in Upper Kits in Vancouver...hmmm to wash my car, or not to wash it that is the question. Yesterday while parked on Robson Street I had so many admirers of my EOS. One guy even left a note on my windshield...hmmm don't do blind dates...lol.
Love my car and must admit the attention I receive boosts my ego...just the truth. Here in Canada there are so few at this time that the roof coming down is still an eye - catching experience.

Eismeer blue, 2.0T and 18" Sam wheels with all the fixings.:D

Funny I heard black and silver are still the biggest sellers for the EOS but I have only seen one of each here in beautiful Vancouver. I wonder if I will soon see another blue one just like mine...I will be devastated...nah I will get over it fairly rapidly. I love how the car has lots of power and warns me if I am speeding too much...try it in S mode...Sport...make your hair fly.

I checked out silver initially but if you count how many silver cars are on our streets I would not be unique in any way. Every second car is silver with a black interior here. Being different sometimes has its rewards.;)

And yet another...

I'm from the Greater Vancouver area too! I'd love to do a meet, and have thought about a cross-Canada trip for many years. Now that I have the Eos, perhaps that will move up in my priority list.

The Eos is a 2.0T Black exterior with the Black leather interior and the sport package. Basically, I said to the dealer, "give me sport, and every option you can put into the car." They did. So I have paddle shifters with the DSG, the backup sensors, wind breaker cover, etc etc etc

Wished Dynaudio was available up here, but still happy with the premium radio.

I've only ever seen one (!) other Eos in the Vancouver area, which happened a couple weekends ago while I was heading to Boundary Bay Airport; It was another Black Eos on the road with me. I was going to follow him and have a chat, but decided that Eos Stalking might not be appreciated. :)

Ode to Eos

Waiting patiently for the sun to reappear...oh the teasing of summer...perhaps I should write an ode...Ode to Eos (the car not the goddess). I have yet to see another eismeer beauty like mine in our fair city but I am alas espying for such a moment. Hope everyone is enjoying their amazing car...I am.:D

Hey Guys!

Got my Black on Black baby last October and saw my first other EOS on the road a couple of weeks ago. It was Eismeer blue and the license plate was VW EOS. It was driving down the Queensway in Ottawa two lanes over from us. Both had the tops down (15 degrees) and I wish we'd seen him earlier as we didn't get a chance to acknowledge him.

My tags are TOTLEOSM like my screen name.

We had a mild winter here in Ottawa, on Christmas Eve I drove my kids to the grocery store with me wearing antlers, and my twin 8 year olds in the back, one with a Santa hat and the other an Elf hat. 5 degrees outside, top down, sun shining...you can imagine the looks we got. Most were smiles and I think we made the day for a couple of older folks out for a walk. The girls at Tim Horton's got a kick out of it at the drive-thru too.

I love this car! It's been 7 months and I'm still madly in love....

Welcome to the forum ... almost as much fun as driving your car, but not quite! I'm not too far away, in Collingwood. Got mine the day they were launched and have not seen one other on the road yet! Sure attracts a lot of attention 'tho. License plate is SKULEFAL (I live in a schoolhouse and my initials) Glad to have you around!

Hey Guys

So I'll be getting by EOS first week of June. I have only seen ONE Eos in the GTA- Toronto area. The dealership told me back in March that there are only 150 EOS available in the CDN market...not sure if the number is true but it sure does feel like it.

How did the EOS handle their first Cdn winter??

Welcome ... bet you can hardly wait. I live in Collingwood/Blue Mountain area ... with snow tires, it handled beautiully through the winter. Actually, there have been just under 800 sold in Canada since last September, still not a lot! You're gonna love it, when you get it!

New Calgary EOS Owner

Hi,

Just bought a very clean, used 2008 black on black EOS with all the trimmings - we love it so far! I haven't seen too many of thes cars in Calgary either so perhaps it isn't that popular.

The forum is great and I look forward to getting lots of tips and advice!

Has anyone installed the smart top controller? If so, is it worth the money and how hard was the installation.
