ETKA Online parts

Some of us can already access parts list from a local PC application. This site has ETKA parts list online with the VIN decoder built in. This takes your VIN and spits out all the items in the original factory build. This is very useful when searching for parts because it gives you specific codes for the Engine/transmission etc when doing the searches. Brake parts can have several variants in the same year and the VIN decoder helps you find out what your car actually has (unless you modded it).

You visit the site, select your vehicle and do a search by VIN.

First time there it may come back with 'Not in database' so click on the bottom box, wait and you should get back a full description of your OE build data. Thereafter, your VIN is linked in and you should get it with search on VIN. I've got mine now saved as pdfs. :)

On a later standalone version of ETKA with the VIN database working I still see a full list of parts, but after a search the part linked to my VIN is selected with a box around it. I probably wouldn't rely 100% on my VIN giving me a definitive parts link but the very long list of build options including paint code and trim color names is very useful when manually searching ETKA.
